Forest Service & County Roads

Rider Comments:

"There are lots of roads both NF and county in the Ouachita.  As a general rule, 90% of the roads in my opinion are doable on even the biggest GS. You can find that 10% that would really press a big bike though. Most of the county/NF are in really good shape. Most of the more fun roads are the ones that go north/south. They have the elevation/switchbacks as most of the hills go east/west. The roads that run east/west are usually along the ridge and are fairly straight." - tx246

"I've rode almost every road 2up on a Dr650 over the years. They are fun but also very well maintained.  Don't miss the road that runs along the Cossatot River." - thumper

"I found a few nice roads last month on the Eastern edge of the forest above Jessieville in the Winona WMA / Flatside Wilderness area. Three main forest roads (FR86, FR132, and FR114) run East/West (on the East side of Hwy 7) through the WMA but it's the smaller connector roads that are so much fun." - Navaho
